MenuLedger
Privacy policy
This policy describes information handled by MenuLedger’s current website functions. It does not claim that optional analytics or advertising services are active when they are disabled.
Messages and corrections
Contact forms collect the name, email address, subject and message you provide. Restaurant correction forms may include a name or initials and an optional email address. These details are used to review the request, contact you when necessary and maintain an internal record of the decision. Submitter email addresses are not displayed publicly.
Cookies and security logs
The site uses a session cookie for form security and administrator authentication. It is marked HttpOnly and SameSite, and marked Secure over HTTPS. The application can create a one-way security fingerprint from network and browser information for short-term rate limiting. The hosting provider may maintain standard server logs for security and reliability.
Analytics and advertising
Analytics and Google AdSense are optional settings. If they are not enabled, MenuLedger does not claim to use them. If enabled, those providers may set cookies or process technical data under their own privacy terms and any consent controls required for the visitor’s region.
Retention and requests
Messages are retained only as long as needed for response, editorial records, abuse prevention or legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion through the contact page. Some security or legal records may need to be retained for a limited period.
External links
Restaurant, ordering and map links lead to services with their own privacy practices. MenuLedger does not control data submitted on those external sites.
